DESIGN & SURVEY

We suggest conducting Laser boretracking as needed for the advancement of both new and existing pit and road designs. Our qualified and experienced surveyors are fully prepared to collaborate with you. DBS is equipped with two complete laser profiling Quarryman and Boretrak setups, operated by dedicated professionals.


Additionally, DBS has three GPS rovers and several base stations to ensure precise pit design and accurate blast hole placement within the limits of the current pit shells.

In-house sharpening facilities

We have the machinery which give us the capability to sharpen all our drill bits in house. This gives us consistency and quality sharpening for of bits, which in turn provides a reliable product for our machines and  operators to work with.

Prime Mover & Low Loader

Further to our fleet of drilling rigs we have our own transport facilities to relocate drills. This enables short lead times and greater ability to work in with our clients unexpected rescheduling. We have attached for your convenience, relevant documentation to substantiate the availability and reliability of our machinery to best service your needs and also shot firers relevant experience.

Stemming of Blast Holes

Were possible on benches deemed flat enough for safe use of a Skid steer, Donnelly Blasting Services has a specialty built stemming bucket for stemming of blast holes. Significantly reducing the manual handling and associated risks and lowering the aggregates usage well over 90% saving in stemming usage on the blast.
